ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH
The next Paradigm Shifters gathering will be on Saturday, 26th from 11 to 4:oo with an organic potluck between 1:15-2. I decided to not use the Digging DVD, and it will instead be scanning the body, and then digging on 5th Plane Beliefs that keep us stuck in the duality game. The cost is $50 and all money goes to the Grant/scholarship fund. Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, April 23rd. I welcome all students of ThetaHealing®. Besides having time to work on yourself, remember that the more you practice, the better practitioner you will become, and the more that ThetaHealing® can be incorporated into your life to change it. Having facilitation is important to make your practice more skillful and having a supportive group of like-minded people helps to make it safe to delve into issues.
All courses are accredited by the ThetaHealing Institute of Knowledge® except Digging workshop, and can be applied toward the ThetaHealing® Master program. More information at http://www.thetadnaactivation.com/workshops.html
[Partial scholarships available if payment is completed at least two weeks prior to any of these three classes.]

BLOG FOR THE SOUL
Hi to all:
April is the start of some of the most dynamic energies to gather in a long time. It’s the Eclipse season, and we have two in April that are very potent transformer energies. Eclipses occur in pairs separated by approximately six months, and they signal a time of intensity where aspects of consciousness become ‘high-lighted’. Issues around relationships that have been ignored, suppressed or repressed are more likely to surface for evaluation in the weeks immediately before and after these eclipses. What happens from these eclipses this year will have significant influence on the effects on our lives that will unfold over the next 20+ years.
On April 15th, there will be a total Moon eclipse (check the link to see if it can be viewed from your area http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/lunar/2014-april-15), the most exact Grand Cardinal Cross yet building and the Hebrew date of Passover starts. Those who have Aries, Libra, Capricorn and Cancer as suns, or rising sign will feel it the most (I have an appointment with my acupuncturist that night…this Capricorn will be prepared.)
Easter is the 20th...that resurrection energy. And then there is a Uranus-Pluto T square on the 21st... if that isn’t strong enough, it peaks the next day as Mars and Jupiter joins the party to bring the Cardinal grand cross into full expression on the 22nd. This is the most dynamic, potent and explosive astrological configuration event possible. When a grand cross touches off the horoscope of an organization or a nation...well, big things break loose…it’s either breakdown or breakthrough. It’s a huge broadcast of revolutionary transformation. (ground, breath, release, ground, breath, release…keep remembering this)
There is also a wonderful opportunity to make the changes necessary to reposition ourselves back to our heart center standing together in support for a new way of transformation. In being conscious of doing this, we can refocus and direct this incoming intense energy towards a path of what is the Highest and Best for all concerned.
And on April 29th, a ring-shaped Sun eclipse will occur (check to see if you’ll be able to view it at http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/solar/2014-april-29) Solar eclipses coincide with New Moons. Generally during a solar eclipse, old things come to an end (or are overthrown) and a new beginning can be started.
This information, if seen and applied in a way of supporting how you can assess and maneuver in your personal life interactions and interconnections with others can help you to be supported in the directions that stir your soul’s deepest expressions of creativity. We didn’t come here for a boring life.
Talk about heart-centered, the last practicum was one of those experiences where I selected a topic not knowing who it would appeal to but just knew that Creator would do as Jackie Gleason use to say, “Away we go.” (hope I’m not dating myself...a TV program from the 50’s) It was a very wonderful gathering in the depth of digging that we were able to do. I think this is why I love to facilitate intimate groups because the safety issues seem secondary to the sharing and releasing from the heart as we explored the range of teachers in our lives.
What comes to mind when you close your eyes and think about a teacher? Do you remember nursery school? Do you think of a guru you followed in the 70’s or the University professor that read Canterbury Tales in middle English? Was the teacher scolding or the person who saw who you are?
I invite each of you to take a look at these below statements and see what comes up for you. I asked the group to list the attributes that they felt made a good teacher. What would you write down? And consider taking a minute to do that.
In the group, I heard, “ perceptive, compassionate, reflective, positive reinforcement, passionate, patient, non-judgmental, accepting of individualism, fun, joyful, accommodating different learning styles, curious, present, likes kids, positive discipline, respectful, challenges in a positive way, inspiring, advocate, emotionally vulnerable, empowered, creative, loving, allowing students to come to their own answers.”
I then asked, “What were the attributes you felt made a good spiritual teacher?” Hope you have your pen or pencil available by now.
I listened to, “Connected or plugged in to Creator, humility, openness, balanced ego, walking their talk,” along with some of the same attributes of a good teacher in general.
I had a list of questions for each participant to answer or at least ponder on.
*What attributes would you like to eliminate in a teacher…a spiritual teacher?
*What qualities do you have to be a teacher?
*How have teachers (and spiritual teachers) affected your life both positively and negatively?
*What would you like to let go of (issues) around teachers?
*What did you learn from these situations that changed your life positively and negatively?
What the group came to understand more deeply is that we are all teachers and students to each other, but because of prior experiences with school and spiritual teachers, that authoritarian energy--dictatorial, punishing, blaming, condescending attitude, self righteousness and/or evil--got in the way of the free flow of inspirational teaching, sharing of knowledge in fun, motivating and insightful ways. And we all had teachers that inspired us too. These above questions allowed each person to delve into some great digging sessions that helped to further empower them in their journeys.
It’s so important that we continue to look at where we place our power as we learn on any level, keeping our core intact and moving from that center with All that IS. Many have often gotten caught up in allowing themselves to follow teachings or teachers that feed off their energy or give up their power in hoping for spiritual redemption, salvation or enlightenment as if the other must know the way. The WAY is always available to us, right inside and remembering our connection. And it’s true that there are others sent to support us who have a different resonancy of awareness than us. But if they ask for your power, be aware. If they are of the mindset of hierarchal placements, be aware. Becoming a victim has its service or secondary gain, and most of the time it comes from our childhood patterns in the way we learned and were taught.
So out of these roles that we and others participate, or events that occur in our lives, we discover and access the attributes of our own “Inner teacher” and our “curious student”, our wisdom, where we can more easily recognize and attract those same qualities to come forth in outer teachers, in more sustainable, mature and respectful ways different than creating the trials and tribulations of past experiences.
And learning and teaching is shifting as new structures of creative education are being birthed and grown through our personal clearings and as we live from our 'awakened' attributes. How we learn and how we share what we learn, supports ourselves, those around us, and the future generations. And it all starts right in us… education from the heart.
“We shall never learn to feel and respect our real calling and destiny, unless we have taught ourselves to consider everything as moonshine compared to the education of the heart.--Sir Walter Scott
May we all find each other as teachers and students in the highest and best way,
For quite some time now, physicists have been exploring the relationship between human consciousness and its relationship to the structure of matter. Previously it was believed that a Newtonian material universe was the foundation of our physical material reality. This all changed when scientists began to recognize that everything in the universe is made out of energy. Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vorticies of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating. Matter, at its tiniest observable level, is energy, and human consciousness is connected to it, human consciousness can influence it’s behavior and even re-structure it.
Chemist says eliminating MSG cured daughter's autism
Reid said that MSG is sometimes labeled as flavor or flavoring, soy protein, barley malt, pectin, corn starch or yeast extract...It's in 95 percent of processed food. Reid said the most convincing evidence to her is the results she saw in her 7 yr old daughter. Reid said. [This] persuaded her to quit her high-paying job and help other parents with what she learned, establishing the Fremont, CA. nonprofit foundation 'Unblind My Mind.' "Out of the 75 cases of diagnosed autism I've worked on, 74 drastically improved within five weeks."
Corporations practicing meditation, yoga and mindfulness
The General Mills initiative is at the vanguard of a movement that is quietly reshaping certain corners of the corporate world. ” With meditation, yoga and “mindfulness”…have infiltrated the upper echelons of some of the biggest companies on earth. ”…(Target, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and Aetna Insurance) What began as a side project by one executive has transformed the culture of a Fortune 200 multinational. Janice Marturano, General Mills’ deputy general counsel, who founded the program says, “It’s about training our minds to be more focused, to see with clarity, to have spaciousness for creativity and to feel connected… That compassion to ourselves, to everyone around us – our colleagues, customers – that’s what the training of mindfulness is really about. http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/2/d9cb7940-ebea-11e1-985a-00144feab49a.html#axzz2wxGMBfQH
The Pineal Gland-A Link to Our Third Eye, DMT, Sleep cycles, and NDE’s
Released by the pineal gland’s pinealocyte cells, melatonin is a powerful antioxidant that fights free radicals that damage neurons (or any cells, for that matter). The amount of melatonin found in spinal fluid is much higher than the amount in our bloodstream, and it controls our circadian rhythm—our sleep and wake cycle. The pineal gland creates more of the antioxidant at night, in the absence of light, which helps to dictate our sleeping patterns. Dr. Rick Strassman, who conducted extensive research on near-death experiences in the 1990s, asserts that the pineal gland is also responsible for secreting the naturally occurring psychedelic hormone dimethyltryptamine (DMT). Structurally analogous to both serotonin and melatonin, it is believed DMT might help contribute to the visual effects of natural dreaming, near-death experiences, religious visions or other altered states.
Do you carry DNA of former lovers in your body?
While the number of women bearing male DNA was highest in the groups that had abortions (nearly 80 percent), women who had only girls or no babies (20 percent) also had male cells in their blood. For no apparent reason. There are other reasons why women in the fourth group carried male cells: inherited in the womb from a male twin that passed, from a miscarriage they did not know about, from their mother via an older brother… Or through sexual intercourse. - There remains a possibility, however remote, that cells from a lover may pass be transmitted during sex. Those cells may hang out forever in the recipient’s body, taking residence in any organ. These cells are the imprint of lovers past, a trace of living history. Might a woman’s bodily fluids enter a cut in a man’s genitals as well?
Ten Magical Effects Music Has On the Mind and DNA
Every fan of music knows the tremendous power it can have over both thoughts and emotions.
Great music can transform an ordinary day into something magical, even spiritual. It can provide solace, release, strong sensations and more. But music’s influence spreads further still: right up from our genetic code, through our thoughts and bodies and out into how we relate in groups.
The Intelligence of Plants
That pot plant sat innocently on your desk may be more intelligent than you might think. Scientists in Germany have discovered that one particular plant, the barberry, can choose whether to abort its seeds before
they are ready to prevent parasitic infestations. This is because it has something called a ‘structural memory’ that helps it anticipate future events. The team at the University of Göttingen claims that this is ‘the first ecological evidence of complex behaviour in plants’. A previous study found that members of the vegetable kingdom can communicate with each other. They are 'capable of more sophisticated behaviour than we imagined,' says American bug expert Professor Richard Karban. His work, which he admits is 'controversial', suggested that plants converse by sending chemical messages through the air, warning of hungry predators. Professor Karban, of the University of California, claimed to have proved that conversations happen between sagebrush bushes -- hardy, yellow-flowered shrubs native to the western U.S
The sound of a tree ring
The artist Bartholomäus Traubeck has managed to build a record player that is able to decipher the lines from a sliced up tree trunk and produce them as beautiful sounds. Bartholomäus too a Playstation Eye Camera and stepper motor and attached it to a record arm that was able to determine the sounds being produced from this piece of wood.
