April’s Practicum will be online through Zoom. Zoom is free to sign up. I’m inviting all students who have questions that you’ve been wanting to ask about any of the foundational level information-- Basic, Advanced or Dig Deeper--and haven’t had an opportunity to do so. This is not about personal questions but specific to the class information.
Please consider sending any questions in ahead of time in case some are more involved. The cost is $30. It will be Wednesday, April 25th from 6:30 to 7:30. You can record it from your end as well…a great zoom feature.

BLOG FOR THE SOUL
Many new things are in the pot simmering for me during this Spring, particularly during a rather intense, but necessary Mercury retrograde. I’m being invited into restructuring how I do things to make way for writing again and recommitting to my deeper purpose in being on the planet now.
This doesn’t mean that I’m giving up being a healing practitioner as I totally love what I do and all the tools I’ve collected in helping people. It’s so much around service for me and supporting the education of the masses.
I use to ‘counsel’ my over-the-top dysfunctional family when I was a kid, and helped my friends who had big school and family problems. In the meantime, my life was in total shambles unbeknowest to me, because I didn’t know what I didn’t know in what was happening to me on both conscious and unconscious levels. I kept things separated to survive.
Part of my survival mode was pushing myself over my physical limits. I’m a Capricorn so this was almost a built-in birth instinct…like…’Climb every mountain’, ‘There ain’t no mountain high enough’, ‘Push it to the limits’ (I use to collect music titles and make up poetry with them) And part of the instinct and programming, was the outside trauma conditioning to push for others as well.
My climb needs some new road construction in getting through things more gently and smoother. I don’t want to push for others. I’m ‘tired’ of pushing for myself. My adrenals are tired. Last week, they told me big time. My chiropractor said the adrenal vertebra was twisted. When adrenals get exhausted, the connection with Creator doesn’t feel as clear.
This awareness around pushing has caused some disruptions during the communication aspect of the retrograde…almost every day having felt like I’m being misunderstood particularly around technical things, and I didn’t have the bandwidth to work as well with the situations. I think two weeks of magnetic solar storms hasn’t helped either.
So now this coping mechanism is outdated. I don’t need to be in survival mode anymore. I made it through that big stretch of my life’s healing journey. I learned an immense amount of knowledge, wisdom and deeper caring for myself and others. I need to bring this aliveness of purpose to the forefront. I need a new way to express myself.
And that deeper purpose is through writing and teaching about Trauma Intelligence and its healing possibilities angled through the ThetaHealing Technique (and other important innovations). All is part of helping the world evolve more peacefully. Honestly, I think about this every day. I just need to get it all down on paper at the rate I think about it.
But I realize it’s about finding the balance between being gentle with myself and moving forward in the projects that mean so much to me. And writing and presenting about Trauma Intelligence needs more of my attention now…through gentleness.
Thus the Universe took the liberty of cancelling two classes to support my ‘strive’ for gentleness. It was a brilliant strategic move in me asking for support after spending 5 weeks until 2-3 AM creating a teaching manual for the new workshop, ‘You and God’, and a podcast I’ve been invited to do in May on healing of Abuse through Forgiveness.
I’m still going to do the podcast, and I’ll teach the courses at a later date. In the meanwhile, I had 2 people from other countries ask to have Moving Beyond Trauma translated into their languages. I don’t own the book. Vianna’s publishing company does. And it’s in revision…for the past 3 years. I’ve collected new information and listened to stories on how trauma is handled by others using the Moving Beyond book. That is why I’m rewriting it…trauma healing is not fully understood in how I intentioned the book; plus there has been huge changes in the field of trauma healing.
So Leila, my business partner and friend in Belgium, and I are preparing small podcasts to introduce ourselves and Trauma Intelligence to ThetaHealers and the public; and hopefully this will start in May as well, along with my new website (hopefully). This will support me in remembering there is a flow of healing that keeps my balance as I move out into the world.
Some of you may not know this, but according to shamanic traditions, we go through stages of growth, and this is known as my 'crone' years. It's about bringing my journey's wisdom into the world. My focus on gentleness will help me to share it at a level that feels more embodied. And that’s what it will take to support others to live gently too. Isn’t that how we want the earth to evolve?

It turns out that the human brain could be similar to a “biological computer,” and that human consciousness may be like a program which is run by a quantum computer within the brain. What’s even more astonishing is that after someone dies, “their soul comes back to the universe, and it does not die.”
The mysterious reincarnation of Omm Sety (aka Dorothy Eady)--the woman who proved to live in ancient Egypt
Dorothy was born in 1904 into a wealthy family from England. Her life was very much like anyone else's until that fateful day when she fell down the stairs. Her parents and even the family doctor declared her dead. It was only when the doctor returned with a nurse to check her that he found that the little girl was very much alive and well. After that incident, Dorothy's behavior changed dramatically. Upon entering the Egyptian Galleries with her family, Dorothy rushed to statues and began kissing their feet and yelling in a voice that sounded strange and old. The words stunned everyone. Dorothy stated that she wanted to be left 'with my people'. When shown a photo of the temple built by Seti I, she immediately told her father that the temple was her real home, a conviction she never lost as she got older. She then went on to claim that she had known Seti, and that he was a kindly man. As her convictions grew, Dorothy began to learn how to read hieroglyphics at the British Museum.
Stress-related hormone, cortisol, lowers significantly after just 45 minutes of art creation
“Biomarkers” are biological indicators (like hormones) that can be used to measure conditions in the body, such as stress. Cortisol was one such the hormone measured in this study through saliva samples. The higher a person’s cortisol level, the more stressed a person is likely to be. Materials available to the participants included markers and paper, modeling clay and collage materials. Of those who took part in the study, just under half reported that they had limited experience in making art. The researchers found that 75 percent of the participants’ cortisol levels lowered during their 45 minutes of making art.
Holding hands can sync brainwaves, ease pain, study shows
Reach for the hand of a loved one in pain and not only will your breathing and heart rate synchronize with theirs, your brain wave patterns will couple up too. The more those brain waves sync, the more the pain goes away. The study is the latest in a growing body of research exploring a phenomenon known as "interpersonal synchronization," in which people physiologically mirror the people they are with. It is the first to look at brain wave synchronization in the context of pain, and offers new insight into the role brain-to-brain coupling may play in touch-induced analgesia, or healing touch.
