ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH
The next Paradigm Shifters gathering will be on Saturday, August 16th from 11 to 1:30 with an organic potluck after. The theme is: “Your inner warrior: how to tame it so peace prevails within.” We will do body scans and digging. The cost is $30 and all money goes to the Grant/scholarship fund. Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, August 15th. I welcome all students of ThetaHealing®. Besides having time to work on yourself, remember that the more you practice, the better practitioner you will become, and the more that ThetaHealing® can be incorporated into your life to change it. Having facilitation is important to make your practice more skillful and having a supportive group of like-minded people helps to make it safe to delve into issues.

BLOG FOR THE SOUL
Welcome new Basic students! We certainly had a powerful weekend with the new moon in Leo last Saturday. We have moved into the playful, childlike and possibly party time of Leo (not that I party these days…sounds fun though) where this sun sign rules the heart and everything is out in the open. The shadow side is that I just hope that people’s communication, rather than tactlessness and blunt with an edge, can be thoughtfully spoken. There is the possibility of self importance and being egotistical too…it’s good for us all to keep things in balance.
Jupiter is in Leo which is amazing time of bathing in the Leo energy of creative dynamics. There is also Mars going into Scorpio which is getting to the center of things. Mars is also in Saturn which is, “If you didn’t get it right, this is the time to do it.” I guess this could be the self correction of any miscommunication too. There are brilliant ideas flowing, but letting them flow and actually putting them forth needs to work together… …like what are you going to do to make it happen? We’ve got another supercharged full moon on the 10th (whoa, these last two have been potent), the sun moves into Virgo…efficiency at hand on the 23rd, and an intense new moon on the 25th (breathe).
I’ve been thinking what to write on this newsletter as very deep and profound truths have been emerging from my inner world prompted, actually triggered like crazy, by the Gaza-Israeli strife. Some of my ancestors are from the territory that is known as Israel today…paternal great-grandparents. And due to the many years at looking at human and world patterns, information from independent and alternative media, my news connections, and my rich inner world in connection to All that IS, there is a deep underbelly of insight that resonates with my surface truths in the world. I’m not wanting to make this a political commentary, but to share some awarenesses and shadow pieces that can support everyone.
For me, what I want is world peace…I mean who doesn’t, but everyone’s idea of how that can be accomplished can be quite different, charged, and polarized. The planetary theme for a long time is to get rid of violence by creating more of it. This seems quite counterproductive, and counterintuitive. And I know quite well that peace won’t happen until everyone of us looks deep inside to where we war within, to where we fight against ourselves, the committee in the mind who is angry, rageful, full of hatred, blaming, critical, and demeaning in those sub/unconscious places. For me, I often don’t know what I don’t know until the inner world shows me. It’s then that there is willingness to being able to release these feelings and projections in healthy ways. There is such a difference between the dynamics of exploding inside so that anger projects outward or causes illness inside and healing pent up anger through emotional release work with the creation of sacred space. Part of our work is to acknowledge what we feel as we explore to the point of release, softening and gentleness. This can be a process for most. And emotional vulnerability is a strong and powerful attribute if one knows how, where, and when to express it.
There is also the theme of blaming another vs speaking the truth and being accountable to the actions that are happening. This takes discernment in how it's presented, the emotional charge, the witnessing, the sources, and ones connection to All-That-IS. If you witness someone being attacked, report it, and the attacker denies it, does that mean you are blaming them? For me, I see it as reporting the experience. I find this shows up not only in wars, but in family dynamics, in child abuse, where children are victimized and the parents lack accountability having deep levels of denial. And like I said, wars start in family dynamics too, probably modeled, and the child learns dysfunctional, unhealthy ways to handle conflict.
Then there is the dissociative response of objectifying others. If ‘others’ are marginalized or seen as less than human-the hierarchy of who is worthy enough- it becomes easier to do harmful things to others without guilt or shame, to rationalize, to be obedient to orders, and to allow group consciousness to rule the energy rather than moral, heartfelt, decisiveness, insight and awareness through All-That-IS. When we see others as enemies, it’s time to look at the enemy within. When we feel victimized by attacks, it’s time to stand in our power and strength, to set boundaries, and to also see where this comes from within and what we’re learning from it, how does it serve us to be attacked, what attributes are we building…in a positive way…and release it.
This goes along with entitlement, as if one set of people are held in more esteem by God thus giving them special rights or privileges that override others rights to be or exist. This is not just held in one culture or country but many places worldwide showing up as genocide. We did it in the US with the Native Americans. It fuses in with self-righteousness--'I know what is best for others’ mentality. And the same is found within ourselves when we rationalize what rights or privileges we allow or deny ourselves, to punish those parts of ourselves that won’t fit to how outside structures think we need to be, which can often represent how we think our parents or God think of us too.
One of the blessings in my personal journey is that in my willingness to go deep, I’ve noticed that conversations with those I disagree with--a once insistence to get my point across, to be heard or acknowledged-- has become without much of a charge or attachment to the person or situation. I’ve come to a place where I feel complete in sharing of information and when I get to ‘see’ a mindset that is not going to accept or change at that time, I just leave that scene without feeling upset or angry. I’m so excited about this change. It's something I've been working on diligently. I feel that to really be a divine oracle for Creator (which in the Basic course is our job in giving unconditional advice), to deliver clear and truthful information (I have a mercury in Capricorn in the 1st house so communication and delivery is a big deal for me); and to educate others, there needs to be a place of calmness, detachment and integrity, a mindfulness that permeates even if the others attempt to bait or draw me into reengagement. Learning to withdraw from Drama Triangles and clearing my beliefs has been the absolute saving grace.
I always loved the little movie, Johnny Appleseed (besides the catchy song) because it really reminded me of why I’m here…to plant seeds of Truth…even though it’s often quite off this worldly grid. How can one be an intuitive and keep things ‘normal’ or ‘straight-laced’? And planting seeds isn’t about being upset if the seed doesn’t take. It’s knowing that it was placed into the ground, and allowing the ground, sun, rain and temperature to handle the rest. I don’t have to stand over it and say, “Grow.” There is an awareness that it has an opportunity to do this just by the action of planting. This is just how I’m truly feeling at a much deeper level when conversations are diverse in awareness, tone, or levels of denials….I planted a seed, and if the time is ripe, something will grow from it to help awaken a potential. This is really freeing because before it was more an intellectual concept rather than really embodying it…and I’m sure this will deepen more.
It has often come up that one can’t know the truth of the situation in other parts of the world unless you live there. Hmmm….Ok, like why are we ThetaHealing intuitives using our connection to Creator if we can’t have a conversation with God about the highest Truth of a situation anywhere in the entire cosmos well enough in another part of Earth? How can we actually be of service to our clients in ‘seeing’ their issues if we can’t ‘see’ their Truths and paradigms? How many of us actually spend an hour connecting with All-that-IS to ‘hear’ the highest Truth in what is going on in the world? Being in the intensity of a spiritual emergency for over 3 years has definitely routed me in hours, day after day, of connection with All that IS. What is important is that we allow these Truths, these inner ‘knowingness,’ to be shared when appropriate without being egotistical or condemning of others. Using wonder statements—like ‘I wonder if you’ve looked at this situation at this angle’—opens up more space to converse a Truth.
When Truth is shared, it’s sometimes called negative. Creator’s Truth is the purest Truth. A person’s reaction to this Truth is about what they can handle. There are vast differences between sharing the Truth, being ‘negative’ and political rhetoric and idealism. And then there are levels of truth from the different Planes of Existence... and from one’s filters…yes we all have them…and this is very humbling in knowing that when we haven’t cleared certain issues, we aren’t going to ‘hear’ Creator clearly and effectively, and need to take ownership of that.
So with all that is volatile in this world, in all that is breaking down in old structures, in all that is inhumane, polarized, secretive and deceptive, let us know that there are ways to find our own inner peace and still care what is going on. Being detached doesn’t necessarily mean lack of compassion unless it’s creating more of the illusion of separateness. We are all interconnected. We are all interdependent with each other. What is going on across the world is an aspect of us in what it brings up besides all being part of Creator. And in what we release to come back to ourselves becomes the solidification of our core with All that IS.
May we all take the time to reflect, release and resolve within ourselves so that humanity can have a future that is beyond our wildest dreams.
In peace and blessings,
Love hormones released by domesticated animals
Experiments found that animals release the same 'love hormone' used in humans to create bonds with friends. Paul Zak, a Professor at Claremont Graduate University in California, conducted several experiments to measure the levels of oxytocin, the body's 'happy hormone' released when pets interacted with other animals and humans. Domesticated animals really do love their owners, researchers have claimed. Experts say they were 'shocked' by the levels of oxytocin released in animals.
CHILDREN AND CREATIVITY
Misbehaving children are “discouraged children” who have mistaken ideas on how to achieve their primary goal— to belong. Their mistaken ideas lead them to misbehavior. We cannot be effective unless we address the mistaken beliefs rather than just the misbehavior. Use encouragement to help children feel “belonging” so the motivation for misbehaving will be eliminated. Celebrate each step in the direction of improvement rather than focusing on mistakes. A great way to help children feel encouraged is to spend special time “being with them.” Have family meetings or class meetings to solve problems with cooperation and mutual respect. This is the key to creating a loving, respectful atmosphere while helping children develop self-discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. Trust in relationships is so important. Look how this couple developed some of their trust. http://vidpit.tv/play/10351
In Conscious Uncoupling, both people commit to communicating their feelings transparently to each other, especially the ones that relationship counselors call ‘The Big Three’-- anger, fear and sadness. In Conscious Uncoupling, both people commit to taking responsibility for the state of the relationship rather than engaging in blame toward the other. In Conscious Uncoupling you live in the question, "What can I learn from this?" not "Why is he/she/the world doing this to me?" Eventually you evolve to an even more powerfully positive question: "What can I learn from all this that will help me be more loving and loved in my next relationship?" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kathlyn-and-gay-hendricks/conscious-uncoupling-what_b_5041480.html
WarkaWater collects up to 26 gallons of water a day, it is truly a Tree of Life
In Ethiopia, women and children have to walk several miles to collect water from shallow, unprotected ponds. A solution to this problem was designed by Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler of Architecture and Vision. It’s called the WarkaWater and its 29-foot-tall bamboo framework has special fabric hanging on the inside that collects potable water from the air by condensation.
Marcel Joseph Vogel (1917 - 1991) was a research scientist for IBM’s San Jose facility for 27 years. He received numerous patents for his inventions during this time. In the 1970’s Marcel did pioneering work in man-plant communication experiments. This led him to the study of quartz crystals and the creation of a faceted crystal that is now known as the Vogel-cut® crystal. The Vogel-cut® crystal is an instrument that serves to store, amplify, convert, and cohere subtle energies. Marcel’s research into the therapeutic application of quartz crystals led him to the investigation of the relationship between crystals and water. He discovered that he could structure water by spinning it around a tuned crystal, altering many of the characteristics of the water and converting it into an information storage system.
