ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH
The next Paradigm Shifters gathering will be on Saturday, March 22nd from 11 to 1:30 PDT with an organic potluck after. The topic will be, “Accepting and supporting our own inner, wise teacher…empowering ourselves through clearing issues around past teachers”. The cost is $30 and all money goes to the Grant/scholarship fund. Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, March 19th.
I welcome all students of ThetaHealing®. Besides having time to work on yourself, remember that the more you practice, the better practitioner you will become, and the more that ThetaHealing® can be incorporated into your life to change it. Having facilitation is important to make your practice more skillful and having a supportive group of like-minded people helps to make it safe to delve into issues.
All courses are accredited by the ThetaHealing Institute of Knowledge® except Digging workshop*, and can be applied toward the ThetaHealing® Master program. More information at http://www.thetadnaactivation.com/workshops.html
[Partial scholarships available if payment is completed at least two weeks prior to any of these three classes.]
Accredited ThetaHealing® Workshop schedule

Manifestation and Abundance- April 12-13th , Saturday-Sunday
Basic- May 30th- June 1st, Friday-Sunday
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 26th. Do you want to know some different ways to dig and get lots of practice?
Everything here is so clear you can see it,
And everything here is so real you can feel it,
And it's real, so real, so real, so real, so real, so real,
Can you dig it...OUT!
This one-day practicum will give you the means to play with digging techniques. You will be given the DVD “Digging and Belief work,” created by Vianna, and a written transcript of it. I will demonstrate the different techniques on a participant in front of the group, and then everyone will spend a day digging out their issues with facilitation when needed.
I welcome all students of ThetaHealing®. You will need to be able to change beliefs and give Creator's teachings. This Bootcamp will go from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a 45-minute organic potluck at my home in Santa Rosa. The cost is $116 (non refundable and non-tranferable), and needs to be prepaid by Wednesday, April 16th so that materials can be ordered and available. BLOG FOR THE SOUL
Welcome everyone! Well, the winter rains in California are finally happening with the coming of Spring. Sometimes life is about catching up and nature can usually adjust itself if it isn’t tampered with too much. And don’t forget to spring forward on March 7th with your clocks if you’re in time zones that do this…we lose an hour.
We just finished the Mercury Retrograde and it’s still in its end shadows as we are entering a Mars retrograde that happens every two years for about 80 days. During this time until it goes direct, it’s a good opportunity to reflect on our creative expressions, themes that affect our life’s relationships, what it takes to create harmony and balance, ways to be assertive in leadership roles without being aggressive. Notice I mentioned reflect, because though Mars wants to go full speed, in its retrograde people are less likely to feel a motivation to act. Yet, it’s a great time to be open to do research or study, work on projects that are already in process, ask questions that invite disclosure, look at and clear your inner shadows that have kept us held back in our projects, set up plans for when the energy is ready for more movement after May 19th. Sometimes no matter how much we love what we do, something needs refreshing or revamping, and this is the time to access these situations.
As Saturn, the planet of discipline, responsibility, boundaries and limitation goes retrograde on March 2nd, a reassessment of these themes is in order. If we live our lives taking on more than we can really handle, we need to watch it…do only what feels manageable to handle and be clear in what can be accomplished in a balanced way. Again, creating strategies and plans will support us the most. Build up our reserves on all levels of our lives so we can then have the energy to achieve our goals.
Jupiter goes retrograde on March 6th. This also isn’t the time for big opportunities and taking risks as it’s more of a slow awareness of things. And finally on March 20th comes Spring Equinox, a time for new beginnings, bringing in a little more physical activity, using the assertiveness that is available to work in healthy, growing ways in our life.
I was going to write on something that came through in meditation but then decided to gear it to ways of communicating in a world that is going through a great deal of changes, and some, not-so-pleasant. Have you noticed that people are more edgey or bark before asking the questions necessary for getting clarity? Or talk over you without wanting to know what is happening on the other end? This could be the Mercury retrograde, but I think I'm either seeing it more or I'm ending up in conversations where other people are unable to discuss things without sarcasm, put downs, one-ups, self-righteous assumptions, or name calling.
Perhaps I'm more sensitive to competitive languaging because I've worked on my skills for years taking courses and asking questions on what would work for others. I felt like I wanted to be understood and heard, so I'd needed to learn the language skills that were missing to do this. I was raised in a family who felt that projection in communication was an acceptable way to behave, at least for the adults in speaking to others or their children. Respectful communication towards others was limited to carefully crafted language that made things either ambiguous in what was said, dangerously threatening, shamed in being wrong, or overtly insulting as a means to get a point across. Respect was "do what you're told and not as I do" modeling, and children were to be polite and well-mannered according to a standard that was set by June Cleaver for the 'Beaver.' This could be a cultural and time issue as well, but making excuses for what is possible in communicating starts with saying there is an issue and taking action to do something about it.
I realize that not everyone is like me, and may feel like they can let things slide with some people, perhaps family members or friends or even people who don't mean much to them. You know that saying, "Pick your battles"? OR "Be selective in your battles, sometimes peace is better than being right?" And what if the conversation wasn't about 'battles' or a debate, but just sharing ideas and information? And then you show up thinking that's what happening, but others don't have the skills to meet you there when there is a disagreement and attempt to create a debate or battle?
I'm a direct person...what you see is what you get. Being transparent with discernment (I’m not going to let someone who is untrustworthy go for my jugular) and being accountable is really important to me; and if things come up more than once, as that signals a pattern is starting and I don't want to end up with resentments, then I'll ask for a conversation. I want to be respectful of other's' time factors, so I usually ask when it might be a good time to talk first and how long I might need. I don't want to create a conversation when either of us are in the midst of other things that would divert us from being present with each other. I name what I observe without blaming, ask what the situation or comment meant because maybe I might be interpreting things differently than what was intended, and listen for an answer. I will often repeat what is said back to the other to make sure I heard correctly. This is called active listening. If it turns out that the person has healthy communication skills and is responsible for her/himself, and something was on the radar screen, I ask what can be done about it, we work it out, and it brings us closer in emotional intimacy. If my observation is met with another's trigger, accusations, assumptions etc, I have to realize that I might have entered a place where the person isn't capable of discussing matters with emotional intelligence. There are many brilliant people who have amazing intellects and can discuss the depth of physics, but don't have the skills to use emotional intelligence because they never learned it. Somehow, these skills necessary to bring wisdom, peace and understanding to the world as a functional adult are thought less than important by some.
I took eight years of parenting classes starting in 1978 because I really wanted to raise my children differently from how I was raised. I'll be the first to admit it... that I had developed the same mode of operation as I previously described from my family, and it wasn't making me feel good inside to see these patterns repeated with my children. I made a commitment to work on myself and do it another way. One of the basic skills that I was taught was how to stop a power struggle. Imagine yourself pushing your energy against another and they are doing the same thing with you. Then, all of a sudden, the other just steps out of the way. Guess what happens? You fall forward, perhaps to the floor, and there is no one there to be against...except the floor. It's like pulling the plug out of the socket...disengaged and no energy there. Whatever came up from the encounter can be dealt with inside if the person who had disengaged had feelings left over. Some people have beliefs that they have to battle to know they are connected to others. I probably had, "I have to battle to disconnect from others."
Now, there is an easily-applied, simple communication skill when a conversation is going in a direction that feels incongruent with our intentions or with the energy of the participant/s. I use, "We will agree to disagree," and end the conversation.
Even if we are baited to rejoin, which is often a tactic to keep the power dominance struggle going, being clear of our intention and not feeling a need to be right can allow for a sense of empowerment. Inside ourselves, if we know what truth is for us, and staying centered and being heard is really what we want, so why hang out with the struggle?! I remember a relationship group I was part of years ago, where the facilitator said, "No need to bang your head against a brick wall and expect movement of the wall." It's those simple statement of total common sense that come to me when a conversation isn't working.
So as our world's situations shows up with intensity or struggle, I support all of us to watch for areas that work and don't work in communication, and see where we can use simple, functional skills to disengage or engage to create shifts that keep us in our peaceful center.
Wishing you discernment and wisdom in all your interactions,
THE LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE IN ACTION
Music: Nature’s Universal Language
Evidence suggests that music may be encoded in the smallest protein molecules comprising living things. New findings from a MIT research team showed that we may be biologically "hardwired" in our response to aesthetically pleasing or displeasing music. Recent experiments report efforts to represent manmade silk fibers as musical compositions — using the underlying proteins in the synthetic silk as "notes". The researchers found remarkable similarities between the physical properties of the silk and the aesthetic sound and feel of its associated music. In other words silk with good physical properties produced pleasing music! - http://www.superconsciousness.com/topics/science/music-natures-universal-language
Energy can be teleported over long distances, say physicists
Energy could be moved over long distances by quantum teleportation, according to calculations done by a team of physicists in Japan. Quantum teleportation is a remarkable idea that was first proposed by IBM's Charles Bennett and colleagues in 1992. It involves two parties, usually called Alice and Bob, who "teleport" a quantum state between each other. The scheme allows Alice to send information about an unknown quantum state to Bob, who is then able to construct a perfect copy of that state. To do so, the pair exchange classical information while sharing particles that are entangled quantum mechanically with each other. Physicists have since been able to teleport atomic states over distances of several metres and photon states over distances greater than 100 km.
Bottomless Costa Rican Pothole Could Be Time Travel Portal
Top physicists from around the globe convened in January to investigate the bizarre phenomenon that was discovered at the bottom of a gaping pothole in front of the Taco Bell in Curridabat, Costa Rica last week. Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, who will head the conference, believes it could be the universe’s first proven wormhole into a quantum world that links separate places and times. “THIS IS PERHAPS THE MOST ENCOURAGING DEVELOPMENT IN TIME TRAVEL,” Hawking said through his computer voice simulator. “WE MAY HAVE FOUND AN AVENIDA SEGUNDA INTO OTHER GALAXIES.” http://elpeji.com/2014/01/13/bottomless-costa-rican-pothole-could-be-time-travel-portal
Phobias may be memories passed down in genes from ancestors
Scientists have long assumed that memories and learned experiences built up during a lifetime must be passed on by teaching later generations or through personal experience. However, new research has shown that it is possible for some information to be inherited biologically through chemical changes that occur in DNA. Dr Brian Dias, from the department of psychiatry at Emory University, said: "From a translational perspective, our results allow us to appreciate how the experiences of a parent, before even conceiving offspring, markedly influence both structure and function in the nervous system of subsequent generations….Such a phenomenon may contribute to the etiology and potential intergenerational transmission of risk for neuropsychiatric disorders such as phobias, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/10486479/Phobias-may-be-memories-passed-down-in-genes-from-ancestors.html
Bring Quantum Generators to the world
The QEG is a crisp, clean, and modern device based on Tesla’s public domain design and built with incredible engineering precision. The size of an average home generator, can easily hook up to your existing electrical system, and weighs approximately 120 pounds. The QEG can power your entire home, several of them can power anything from a skyscraper to a cruise ship, and you will never have to pay an electric bill ever again. The philosophy of their foundation, Fix The World Organization, is one of the core values to foster co-operation instead of competition and they have exemplified this through the development of the QEG. [I am really impressed with this company and how they are going to patent this device teaching people all over the world to build and use it.] http://hopegirl2012.wordpress.com/the-peoples-fund-to-change-the-planet/

“Rumplestiltskin” Bacteria Digests Toxic Liquid, Poops 24-Karat Gold
Scientists at Michigan State University have discovered a strain of bacteria that literally excretes gold. Cupriavidus metalliduran, according to microbiologist Kazem Kashefi and electronic artist Adam Brown, doesn't just survive on toxic concentrations of auric chloride, it thrives. By feeding a colony unprecedented quantities of the naturally occurring but deadly compound—a process they believe mirrors what happens in nature—the duo managed to coax the microbes into metabolizing the toxins into 24-karat gold. The irony? The process would be cost-prohibitive on a large scale. So Kashefi and Brown did the next best thing: they turned their research into an art installation.
Stunning Portraits Of The World’s Remotest Tribes Before They Pass Away
“Before They Pass Away,” a long-term project by photographer Jimmy Nelson, gives us the unique opportunity to discover more than 30 secluded and slowly vanishing tribes from all over the world.Spending 2 weeks in each tribe, Jimmy became acquainted with their time-honoured traditions, joined their rituals and captured it all in a very appealing way. His detailed photographs showcase unique jewellery, hairstyles and clothing, not to forget the surroundings and cultural elements most important to each tribe, like horses for Gauchos. According to Nelson, his mission was to assure that the world never forgets how things used to be: “Most importantly, I wanted to create an ambitious aesthetic photographic document that would stand the test of time. A body of work that would be an irreplaceable ethnographic record of a fast disappearing world.”
